Devil’s Club Tincture

Tinctures have been used for centuries as a method to preserve and administer the beneficial properties of various herbs and botanicals. Tinctures have a longer shelf life than other herbal preparations. The alcohol or glycerin are able to extract the active compounds from the plant material creating a concentrated liquid solution.

A member of the Araliaceae family. Alaskan Natives have used Devil’s club for ages. It is known by the Natives for its anti-inflammatory properties. It assists in pain, inflammation, and arthritis. It soothes skin irritation when used topically in a salve. When ingested in a tincture it has been known to aid in lowering A1C and detoxing the Liver. Its antifungal properties aid in killing 7 different fungi. The berries are poisonous so should never be ingested, but when dried and ground into a powder can be used topically to kill lice.

Ingredients: Grain Neutral Vodka, Purified Water, and Devil’s Club.
