Tinctures have been used for centuries as a method to preserve and administer the beneficial properties of various herbs and botanicals. Tinctures have a longer shelf life than other herbal preparations. The alcohol or glycerin are able to extract the active compounds from the plant material creating a concentrated liquid solution.

Our Blood Sugar Tincture was designed to assist in lowering your A1C. The herbs we have used are known for their ability to balance blood sugar and lowering cholesterol.

Chaga: Has been used for diabetes and to lower cholesterol. A recent study in
diabetic mice showed that an ethyl acetate fraction from chaga had anti
hyperglycemic effects due to its terpenoid and sterol compounds (Lu, 2010).
Fenugreek: lowered blood sugar and also lowered cholesterol and triglyceride
levels in a study of effects on patients with mild non-insulin dependent
diabetes, at just 2.5 grams of twice daily (Chopra & Simon, 2000).
Cinnamon root: Cinnamon extracts have been reputed to help manage blood
glucose by reducing carbohydrate digestion. It’s also known for its glycemic
lowering effects.
Nettle: Nettle helps to maintain even blood sugar levels; research indicates that nettle contains both hypoglycemic and hyperglycemic constituents (Hoffmann, 2003). In a clinical trial, nettle leaf extract was found to improve glycemic control in patients with type 2 diabetes who require insulin therapy (Kianbakht et al., 2013).
Tulsi/Holy Basil: Its used to regulate blood sugar in people with diabetes. It
was used in a randomized, placebo-controlled, crossover single blind trial to
evaluate its effects on blood glucose and serum cholesterol levels in humans
during fasting and after eating; results indicated significantly lower blood sugar levels during fasting (17.6%) as well as after eating (7.3%),(Agrawal et al., 1996).
